Requirements:
- Proficiency or willingness to learn the appropriate software (i.e. Adobe Audition)
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Excellent communication skills
- A farm background is a plus, but not a requirement
- Valid driver's license required
Responsibilities:
Farm Broadcaster:
- On-air farm news and market reports
- Interviewing news sources
- Writing news stories for on-air and online platforms
- Ability to travel and cover meetings and ag events on regional and national level
- Ability and willingness to assist with technology/equipment
- Produce podcasts as needed
- Voice commercials and provide oversight to commercial production
- Assist with RRFN’s digital strategy, including website, social media and e-newsletter
- Interface with outside newsmakers, clients, radio affiliates
