Your Support Helps Advance Farm Broadcasting and Agriculture!
The NAFB Foundation is a nonprofit charitable and educational arm of NAFB, focused on ensuring a strong future for the farm broadcasting profession and industry. The NAFB Foundation was created to provide development opportunities for those exploring the farm broadcasting profession and for current professionals who are looking to expand their communications skills. Donating to the NAFB Foundation is investing in the future of farm broadcasting and agriculture.
Since its inception in 1977, NAFB Foundation has awarded nearly $700,000 in collage scholarships to more than 150 students. Scholarship winners are recognized each year at the NAFB Convention in November. In addition, the NAFB Foundation has provided nearly $330,000 in internship grants to NAFB member stations and networks and has contributed to educational seminars and travel to events that help with advancing broadcast skills.
Says Taylor Brown, owner of Northern Ag Network, who served for 18 years on the Foundation board and 12 years as its president: "Donating to the NAFB Foundation allows all of us to give back in a small way to this industry that has done so much for each of us."
Many individuals choose to support the NAFB Foundation every year in a variety of ways. For those who commit to making an annual gift, we show our appreciation through the NAFB Foundation Booster Club.
Booster Club members receive the NAFB Foundation newsletter to keep them up-to-date on the great work the foundation is doing throughout the year, as well as special recognition in NAFB publications and at association events such as the fall convention.
Your support of the NAFB Foundation and the NAFB Foundation Booster Club helps ensure a bright future for agricultural broadcasting!
