PLATTE CITY, Mo. (April 2, 2025) – The National Association of Farm Broadcasting (NAFB) announces a completely upgraded and redesigned website (nafb.com(Link is external)) to deliver the compelling story of ag radio and the association that serves the agriculture industry. Added features and a more modern navigation also provide members with an enhanced user experience and easier access to professional development tools and other resources.
The website is significantly improved with a more modern, easy-to-navigate design and photo-centric storytelling of the farm broadcasters, media marketing professionals, allied industry leaders and agriculture students who make up the membership of NAFB.
“NAFB serves farm broadcasters and brings together like-minded professionals from throughout the ag industry to collaborate and advance agriculture communications. Our new website is designed for greater ease of use and connects members more quickly to the content and resources that they need,” says Micheal Clements, NAFB chief operating officer.
The user experience is customized for members after they log in to the site with the “My NAFB” feature. Once logged in, each user will have easier access to what’s important and exclusive for them via a more intuitive new menu structure at the top of the site.
For example, broadcaster members will have better access to the NAFB News Service, and all members have links to benefits exclusive to them, including NAFB Academy education resources, radio listenership research and the membership directory. Judging for NAFB’s multiple awards and recognition programs will also be hosted on the password-protected web portal unique to judges when they log in.
Improvements were also made to the NAFB News Service section. Exclusive to broadcaster members, the News Service is a daily destination to download current agriculture news and audio developed by NAFB News Editor Chad Smith and submitted by other members.
“With a new web platform, we are growing the News Service site with a broader range of tools for broadcaster members and earned media features for the ag industry,” Clements says.
In addition, the compelling story of the NAFB Foundation, the non-profit charitable and educational arm of NAFB, is told through photos and vignettes from members who have benefitted from the foundation’s legacy of student scholarships, internship grants and educational support.
“At NAFB, we’re responding to the evolving needs of our members and also the ag industry,” Clements says. “The new NAFB website is one initiative we’re introducing this year to help support our members’ business interests and help advance their professional growth.”
