The Nebraska Rural Radio Association (NRRA) once again made a strong showing at the Nebraska Broadcasters Pinnacle Awards Ceremony, earning several awards across multiple categories, including four coveted Gold Awards, for excellence in local broadcasting. The annual event, held in August in La Vista, NE, brought together radio and television broadcasters from across the state to honor outstanding work.
“This year’s awards reflect the incredible talent and commitment our teams bring to their communities every single day,” said Nebraska Rural Radio Association Chief Executive Officer Tim Marshall. “From news to sports to agricultural coverage, our stations strive to be the gold standard in broadcasting, and it’s an honor to see that dedication recognized.”
In addition to the awards, KNEB-FM in Scottsbluff was named a finalist for Station of the Year, and Rural Radio–Scottsbluff Sales Representative Tricia Boltjes was a finalist for the Dick Chaplin Radio Account Executive of the Year award.
