Cindy Cunningham Joins NAFB as Industry Engagement Director

Cindy CunninghamPLATTE CITY, Mo. (January 14, 2026) – The National Association of Farm Broadcasting (NAFB) is pleased to announce the appointment of agriculture industry veteran Cindy Cunningham as the organization’s Industry Engagement Director. She joins NAFB on Monday, Jan. 19.

In this strategic role, Cunningham will focus on strengthening the association’s connection with external ag industry partners, leading collaborations and helping to drive growth for the 700-member association. She will also manage NAFB’s signature events, including Washington Watch and the annual convention in November.

Cindy’s proven expertise and deep industry connections will be instrumental in supporting NAFB’s strategic priorities for growth, industry collaborations and delivering exceptional value for our members.” 

“As a 35-year member of NAFB, I’m looking forward to bringing my experience to an organization I care deeply about,” Cunningham says. “NAFB members work tirelessly to deliver accurate and timely information to America’s farmers and ranchers, and I’m excited to be part of the support team that helps make that possible.”

Cunningham brings three decades of experience in agriculture marketing, ag industry relations, public relations and event management. Most recently, she was managing supervisor at Woodruff, where she led award-winning marketing campaigns and expanded the agency’s footprint by successfully bringing in new business.

She is also well-known in the pork industry, where she spent 19 years as assistant vice president of communications at the National Pork Board and nine years in a similar role at the National Pork Producers Council. Early in her career, she was radio farm director at KICD AM/FM Radio in Spencer, IA.
