NAFB Brazil Trip

NAFB is pleased to bring this exciting educational and professional development opportunity to members! Join us as we immerse ourselves in Brazil’s rich and diverse agriculture and share what we learn to your listeners. The trip is planned for May 9 - 16, 2027, with international departure/return from Dallas.

The NAFB Brazil trip is open to all members, with a focus on providing farm broadcaster members with an enriching experience and an opportunity to capture content and interviews about Brazilian agriculture. Ample time will be allocated at each stop for photos and interviews. We will explore a variety of crops, livestock, production methods, trade and economic topics, and more!

Why Brazil?

In our survey about an international trip, many of you said you were interested in visiting a mature market. Brazil is a fascinating choice, as it plays a pivotal role in global markets and is both a competitor to the United States and a world leader in agriculture.

Foundation Grant

Through the Lyle Orwig Endowment Fund, the NAFB Foundation is allocating up to $20,000 in support for NAFB broadcaster members to participate in the 2027 NAFB Brazil trip. The grant will be up to $2,000 per broadcaster. Grants will be awarded in December 2026. Apply for a trip grant here.
