2024 under Crafted Communications but I've previously been a member while working for KMZU and Woodruff
What is your dream vacation spot? Why?
When I think about a dream vacation, I immediately think about kayaking with my friends at Custer State Park in South Dakota. We went a couple of summers ago on our way to The Badlands National Park and I'd go back in a heartbeat. It's just so serene up that way.
What is your favorite podcast or book that you would recommend to others? Why?
I’m a big fan of motivational and psychology-based podcasts and The Trent Shelton Podcast is one I regularly return to. Trent's podcasts are honest and reflective, whether he’s sharing his own life experiences or interviewing guests with powerful stories. I recently listened to an episode featuring the youngest founder of a publicly traded company and it was pretty inspiring. What I value most about podcasts like this is how they help me grow as a person while also giving me insight into others. Whether you’re leading a team, telling someone’s story or visiting with a client, it’s important to understand what motivates and challenges others. That perspective can help us all connect more meaningfully in the work we do.
What is your favorite part of NAFB and why?
What I love most is the NAFB Annual Convention because it's an opportunity to catch up with familiar faces and build new relationships with people who are just as passionate about agriculture. The educational sessions are a bonus — they always spark fresh ideas and get me energized for the months ahead.
