PLATTE CITY, Missouri (September 15, 2014) – Kim Holland has joined the National Association of Farm Broadcasting (NAFB) as the Events & Service Manager. She comes to the NAFB from Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Westin and Sheraton Hotels, Crown Center, where she most recently served as a Meeting and Event Manager. Kim is no stranger to the NAFB, and the annual convention, held at the Westin every November. During the course of her 18 years at the Westin Crown Center, Kim has been involved at various different levels with planning and implementation of the NAFB convention.
“Kim’s familiarity with our convention, association and members made her a natural fit for the position,” says Tom Brand, NAFB Executive Director. “We have enjoyed working with Kim over the years, and are looking forward to having her as a permanent member of the NAFB team.”
In addition to assuming the lead on NAFB Convention, Kim will also be the lead on Washington Watch. She will also handle convention sponsorships, Trade Talk, advertising sales for the annual membership directory, NAFB News Service agreements and other services.
“NAFB has been part of the Westin Crown Center family for 41 years, and I have had the pleasure and honor of welcoming you back to the hotel for the last 18 years, “ says Kim. “I’m very excited to join an incredible group of people, and being part of the NAFB family.”
