NAFB Hall of Fame

Established in 1986, the NAFB Hall of Fame has recognized pioneers of the industry such as our first president, Larry Haeg, from WCCO; Herb Plambeck, who started the farm department at WHO; and Lane Beatty, who began his career in Fort Worth, Texas, and retired from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

NAFB Hall of Farm honorees are known leaders who are powerful advocates in the field of agriculture. They are recognized for their career-long reputations for being trusted voices in agriculture and in their rural communities, delivering ag news, market insights and features that matter to farm and non-farm audiences alike.

Inductees in the Hall of Fame are recognized every year at Convention at a special Night of Honors celebration. In total, there are 79 inductees into the Hall of Fame.
