Years of Experience:  16 agency; lived on a farm all my life

Board Experience:
It’s time to get back in the game. After serving on every board imaginable in my younger days, I’ve spent some time away focusing on family, school activities, and career. Most recently, I served three years on the Kansas Foundation for Ag in the Classroom (KFAC) board. Additionally, I led the KFAC marketing committee, sharing my agency experience along with my farming background to move the organization and their communication efforts forward. I’ve been an active participant in National Agri-Marketing Association (NAMA) and as an awards judge volunteer. Aside from board leadership, I’ve led a number of teams, including the ag and environmental sciences team at Padilla. I’m eager to jump back in and become more active in agricultural organizations, like NAFB.

Bio: With nearly 15 years of experience in agricultural public relations, Erika Poppelreiter’s passion for the industry is second to none. Unique to the Padilla team, she lives on a farm and ranch in Northeast Kansas where she shares her real-life experiences to help clients achieve their goals. Poppelreiter brings extensive agency background to the team, from global PR firms to smaller ag-focused marketing agencies. Prior to Padilla, she led PR efforts for BASF Agricultural Solutions, Mycogen Seeds, Pioneer, and Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health. Poppelreiter also worked on the U.S. Farmers & Ranchers in Action (USFRA) account where she presented research about consumer perceptions of agriculture to farmers and ranchers. She has a strong ability to build client relationships and is often appreciated for her no-nonsense approach to marketing and public relations.
