WOWO-AM (Fort Wayne, IN) was named Medium Market Radio Station of the Year at the 2014 National Association of Broadcasters’ (NAB) Marconi Radio Awards ceremony in Indianapolis. “It’s a real honor,” said WOWO Farm Director Rob Winters, “especially since we are one of the few remaining medium-size market stations with a significant commitment to farm news.” The prestigious awards recognize radio's outstanding personalities and stations. Marconi finalists were selected by a task force of broadcasters, and the winners were voted on by the NAB Marconi Radio Awards Selection Academy.
