(December 17, 2024) – The National Association of Farm Broadcasting (NAFB), an organization dedicated to lead, promote and support the growth of agricultural and rural lifestyle broadcasting, announces its 2025 Board of Directors. Elections were held at the recent NAFB Convention in Kansas City, where five agriculture leaders were elected to replace outgoing board members.

PLATTE CITY, Mo. (November 18, 2024) – The National Association of Farm Broadcasting (NAFB) recognized excellence in agriculture broadcasting and exceptional contributions to the farm broadcasting industry with multiple awards during its annual convention Nov. 13 - 15, 2024, in Kansas City. More than 700 broadcasting professionals, ag industry leaders, newsmakers and students attended the association’s 81st convention last week.

PLATTE CITY, Mo. (November 15, 2024) – The National Association of Farm Broadcasting (NAFB) honored veteran broadcasters Mark Oppold and Curt Lancaster as the 2024 inductees in the NAFB Hall of Fame. They were celebrated at a special Hall of Fame banquet on Thursday evening, Nov. 14, attended by farm broadcasters and ag industry leaders at this week's NAFB Convention in Kansas City.

PLATTE CITY, Mo. (October 3, 2024) – The National Association of Farm Broadcasting (NAFB) Foundation recently awarded 2024 college scholarships, totaling $77,500, to 10 students studying agricultural communications. The students will attend and be recognized for their achievements at a special NAFB Foundation Celebration Luncheon on Nov. 13, 2024, during the NAFB Convention in Kansas City.

PLATTE CITY, Mo. (August 15, 2024) – The National Association of Farm Broadcasting (NAFB) announces the addition of broadcast veteran Chad Smith as NAFB News Service editor. Smith joins NAFB after serving as a contract editor and reporter for the News Service for more than 10 years.

Smith succeeds long-time editor Micheal Clements, who has been promoted to chief operating office at NAFB.
