Raised on a five-generation family farm, DeLoss has been in broadcasting for more than 20 years.
His career began at KKSU and the K-State Radio Network, and he later went on to WIBW and the Kansas Agriculture Network. DeLoss spent five years at Brownfield Network and broadcast news and market information to more than 200 radio stations on a daily basis.
I've been in radio for the last 30 years, I have two wonderful kids, and have been fortunate to be a part of the Lafayette, Indiana community for a majority of that time as well. Born in Ft. Bragg, N.C., I have moved extensively, and was that “new kid in school” quite a bit, probably where I learned my craft.
I'm Rob Winters - farm director at WOWO-AM/FM in Fort Wayne, Indiana. I was the recipient of last year's NAFB Horizon Award. Oddly enough, I qualified for the rookie status that goes along with the award, but it basically made me one of the oldest rookies on record since I celebrated 40 years in broadcasting last year as well.
My time with the NAFB board has given me the opportunity to be involved with many different aspects of our organization. The mapping tool was a major project that was followed with our current push for new research, both focusing heavily on driving value to our membership.
Terry Simmons was born and raised on a small rice and soybean farm near Cash, Arkansas. In his teenage years, Terry worked as a laborer on neighboring farms and was active in his high school’s Future Farmers of America (FFA) chapter. Terry is a graduate of Westside High School (Jonesboro, AR) and Delta Technical School (Arkansas State University) where he received a diploma in nursing.
Breck Von Bank is National Account Manager for Brownfield Ag News. She has been a member of the Brownfield organization for two years, however worked in the agricultural broadcast arena for more than 20 years.
Marci Sears has held the dual position of National Sales Manager/Ag Sales Manager at The WSBT Radio Group in Mishawaka, Indiana for 14 years. When initially beginning with WSBT, Marci quickly realized the need for accurate, concise information delivered to the area farm community. Neal Gladner has over 25 years’ experience in the Agri News business. He is currently the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at the Louisiana Farm Bureau Agri News Network and the Louisiana Radio Network, a position he’s held since January of 2013. He rejoined the NAFB Management and Sales Council at that time, having also been a member of the council when he was at the Arkansas Network.
Ann Hess is the North America Field PR Manager for Alltech. A native of South Dakota, Hess holds a bachelor of arts degree in journalism from South Dakota State University. In 2004, she joined Alltech as a product assistant for Yea-Sacc®1026 and then joined the marketing department in 2005 as a territory marketing coordinator for Alltech South Dakota.
