During my career, I have worked in Farm Radio on the On-Air side, but primarily in Sales and Management.  My current position is CEO of the Nebraska Rural Radio Association.

As a proud advocate for the National Association of Farm Broadcasters throughout my career, spanning agency and trade associations, it’d truly be an honor to serve as the Allied Industry Council representative on the NAFB Board of Directors. Whether it’s attending the NAFB Trade Talk or ensuring the NAFB News Service is part of our public relations strategy, I’ve always stressed the importance of reaching our farmers through radio.

A native of rural Missouri, Katana Ewbank knew from an early age that agriculture was in her future. That path led her to Oklahoma State University and a series of agency jobs after graduation ranging from public relations to strategy, all focused squarely on agriculture.

When agriculture's leaders seek superlative insight and expertise in new and emerging technologies they turn to Chad Colby.  Chad is the founder and principal of Colby AgTech, where he works with progressive farmers, leading companies and government agencies to provide deeper understanding of new technologies and recommendations on its practical applications.

Recently, I talked with Rich Hawkins, a longtime NAFB member who -- although retired -- stays involved in broadcasting.
