Groskreutz Named to Minnesota FFA Hall of Fame

Jerry Groskreutz (KDHL, Faribault, Minnesota) has been inducted into the Minnesota FFA Hall of Fame.

Robinson is New NAFB Member

Will Robinson (Brownfield Network, Jefferson City, Missouri) is proud to be a new member of the NAFB Broadcast Council. He grew up on a swine farm outside of Wellsville, Missouri, 70 miles west of St. Louis.

Voichoskie Joins Rural Radio Network

Wilcox, Nebraska, native Alex Voichoskie has officially joined the Rural Radio Network broadcast team following her graduation from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln (UNL). A familiar face and voice to many listeners and viewers, she first joined the Nebraska Rural Radio Association (NRRA) as an intern in the spring of 2018.

Hoosier Ag Today Collaborates on Farm Safety PSA

With the arrival of spring and temperatures rising, farmers across Indiana are planting the state’s 15 million acres of crops. To keep motorists and farmers safe this planting season, several state agencies have partnered to encourage Hoosiers to be alert, slow down, and share the road with farm equipment.

Hoosier Ag Today (HAT) has partnered with these agencies to produce a public service announcement (PSA) urging motorists to be aware of farm equipment on the road,” Gary Truitt said. 

Sjeklocha Begins Internship with Rural Radio Network

The Rural Radio Network welcomes Hayes Center, Nebraska, native Rebel Sjeklocha as their 2020 summer intern.​ Sjeklocha, a junior at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, is majoring in agricultural and environmental sciences communication and minoring in Engler Entrepreneurship, business law, and international agriculture.
